Kogast Bridge cooking ranges
have several advantages over conventional elements set-up in the line:
- All contact edges between the cooking range and the floor are rounded and sealed.
- The worktops of the cooking units are designed so that they can be thoroughly cleaned very easily and prevent running of liquids that spill while cooking. In this way the accumulation of dirt in inaccessible places is prevented.
- Because of the bridge design the floor beneath the cooking range can be cleaned easily.
Because of its properties Kogast bridge cooking ranges conform to the strictest regulations concerning hygiene. The whole range, including the supporting structure, is made of stainless steel. The support is welded, thus giving the cooking range suitable rigidity and stability.
All the necessary power installations (electricity, gas and water) are sealed in two supporting columns and protected against jets of water which are often used to clean kitchen floors.
The cooking range stands on the platform of the supporting structure to which our suitably adapted cooking units are attached. Each cooking range is manufactured according to the special requirements of the customer. The company’s development engineers provide advices and take into consideration all customer’s requirements as much as possible.
Kogast manufactures bridge cooking ranges in a single-sided and double-sided version, 700 mm or 900 mm in different lengths. Inside the construction only tested components of the highest quality are installed. As in the Kogast 700 and 900 product lines an optional source of power is available for individual cooking units (electricity, gas and steam for boiling pans), the long-termed low running costs will ensured in the kitchen. The electric cooking surfaces can be conventional, glass ceramic (giving an energy saving of 50% over conventional ones) or induction (offering a saving of up to 85%).
